Dave Marley
He/Him
Dave has been a DJ since the early 80s, but it was not until the 90s that he became interested in radio presenting. With love and respect for all types of good music, his taste and knowledge stretch as far back as the 1950s through to the current charts.
Growing up in West London listening to the radio as a young lad and starting his collection of vinyl at the mere age of 5 years old, by saving his pocket money to buy records as often as possible, now some 50-odd years on, his vinyl collection and knowledge has grown immensely. He grew up listening to the fathers of British Broadcasting, to presenters such as the late great Alan "Fluff" Freeman with his "Pick of the Pop", Tony Blackburn, John Peel and soul DJ and good friend Greg Edwards with his Soul Spectrum.
After some 30 years presenting on various radio stations, from pirate radio, to hospital radio, local community radio and many different live events over the years, since 2023 he has been presenting his own breakfast show "Marley in the Morning" here on Anchor Radio.
