The train is ready and Chris is somewhere near the driver's seat. Going to Goodtown is a journey through the best new music he can find, in the company of a presenter who has been doing this on internet radio for the better part of two decades and still sounds delighted about it.
Mostly it's new records, split between old friends and artists you're about to meet for the first time. Chris's taste runs to folk, country and Americana, but the show has never been fenced in. Along the way there's a feature record, a late night listen, and often a guest in the second driver's seat: songwriters who come on to talk through the music that shaped them.
Where it all ends up is anyone's guess, Chris included. That's rather the point.
